Donations for ONE80 PLACE Residents
Did you know that each night 78 men, women, and children sleep at ONE80 Place, a shelter for homeless persons/families in Charleston? You can help these families in transition by providing new linens for persons staying at the shelter and/or moving from the shelter into an apartment.
Throughout April, Providence will be collecting new, urgently needed items for these neighbors:
– bath towels and washcloths;
– bed sheets and pillow cases (twin or full);
– standard pillows;
– blankets (twin or full);
– women’s shoes (sizes 6–10);
– men’s shoes (sizes 9–13); and/or,
– men’s steel toe boots (sizes 9–13).
Please, NEW items only! You’re invited to drop your donated items in the plastic containers labeled “ONE80 Place Donations” located on the front and back porches of the church sanctuary from April 1-30.
