Observing Lent via The Long & Winding Road

This year in worship we will be meeting some of the characters and thinking about the situations that Jesus encountered on his long and winding road to the cross. To aid us in walking alongside Jesus, you’re invited to join in reading daily devotions from the 2022 Lenten Devotions: The Long Haul. Printed versions are available through the church office … or you may download your familiy’s copy here. As with any collection of devotions, we may be touched by some, challenged by others, and even disagree entirely with a few.

It’s like I’m gazing at a long, long road. A long road with lanes to change and a pace to set with a destination I’m not sure of. But, here is what I know: I will not be on the road alone. I do not know precisely where I’m headed. I am towing a heavy load. And, as this is a spiritual journey invited by our God, I will have everything required to reach my destination.
— The Long Haul Lenten Devotion

Travels are always better with friends, so I hope you will join Rev. Terry Wilson and others for weekly conversations about the devotions we've read together. We will meet on Zoom each Tuesday at 7 pm from March 8 until April 19. (Meeting ID: 896 5221 1224, Passcode: Lent).
