Drawn In: Living the Creative Life with God

We spend too much time being “driven” rather than “drawn in.” We focus on what we “should” do rather than what we feel excited and compelled to do in our lives, in this world. During worship June 15-August 3, we will connect with our inherent creativity and nurture this foundational aspect of being human, giving us renewed energy for passionate work, delightful play, and creative problem solving to make this world a better place for all. This will include hearing testimonies from members about how their creative pursuits “lift their Spirit” and by extension the Spirit of those around them. 

CELEBRATING CREATIVITY EVENT AUGUST 3 

For worship on August 3, everyone is invited to bring products of their creativity for everyone to enjoy. This may include visual artwork, baked goods, needlework, quilts, a prepared piece of music, stories, poetry, woodworking, or any other products of your creativity. Please bring items July 20-30 in order for the display to be prepared. Even if you are not able to be present for worship on August 3, please bring items to display.
