CBF Global Missions Focus

Join us Sunday, May 26, as we conclude our week of prayer for global missions with a special message by CBF Field Personnel Jenny Jenkins.

Serving in Grand Goâve, Haiti since 2010, Jenny works among a population of some 125,000 people most of whom are farmers, tradesmen, small business owners and educators. Ninety percent of the population lives in the mountains and countryside with limited access to medical care and other services including electricity. A lack of literacy, education and business skills plagues the community and there is an overwhelming need for full-time work, but God’s presence is strong and the local churches are active in discipleship, education and other efforts to transform the community. Jenny partners with local churches and individuals, and her work in Grand Goâve centers on developing relationships in the community through medical, educational and outreach ministries.

You can support Jenny and other CBF field personnel by praying for and contributing to our annual Global Missions Offering whose goal this year is $7,000. Make your check payable to Providence Church, and note Global Missions Offering on the memo line.
