Ministries

The Youth Ministry at Providence exists so that 6th - 12th graders might experience God through fun, fellowship, conversation and study. Providence provides a safe place where teens from across the Lowcountry can gather and be real with each other as they ask tough questions and develop their own faith. 

We spend time engaging scripture, literature and popular media through a lens of faith. Youth are encouraged to think critically about the Bible as well as the media they encounter on a daily basis and to translate what they read, hear and see through their own understanding of faith and what it means to follow Jesus. 

Throughout the year, we leave Charleston for retreats, mission events, and summer youth camp.
